“We received reports that more than forty persons have died throughout the country as a result of the cold weather during the past month, and a majority of them are children” said Sakhi Kargar Nooroghli, spokesman for the MoPH.
The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) confirmed that the extreme cold weather which has overtaken Afghanistan is responsible for the deaths of more than forty people throughout the country.
